Magnetic floppy disks( 3.5 floppy disk), which can store about 1.44 MB of information ;
Hard drives, which can store gigabytes of information (e.g. 60 GB, 120 GB…etc ) ;
Compact discs (CDs), which can store up to 700 megabytes of information (700 MB);
Digital video discs or Digital Versatile Disk (DVDs), which can store 4.5 or 8.5 gigabytes of information.
Universal Serial Bort (USB), which can store up to 2 gigabytes of information;
A single CD can store nearly about 450 floppy disks, and some DVDs can hold more than 12 times as much data as a CD. The hard disk stores the large capacity of data.
